Woman In Chains by Bridget Midway is about pushing limits. Extremely sensitively written it explores the
BDSM culture with and honest, open point of view. Most BDSM books show only the tantalizing side of
the culture, but in
Woman In Chains, Bridget Midway delves not only into to the titillating side, but the
potential for abuse that exists in all things. I truly enjoyed watching the characters connect and
overcome both of their baggage.  Kudos for a great story on a difficult subject.

Love, Love, Love Woman in Chains!

Just like
Love My Way, BDSM is shown with respect and love. The BW/WM dynamic is shows that BW
don't have to feel shame about their sexual identity no matter what their backgrounds are. I also like
that the Dak has doubts and they both realize everything isn't just black and white when it comes to
relationships and understanding each other.

WOMAN IN CHAINS pushed every single BDSM button I have.  Shockingly realistic, WOMAN IN
CHAINS
explores one woman’s journey and holds no punches.  The sex is gritty and raw and the
submissive scenes are intense.  It was an in-your-face-no-holds-barred look at the less talked about
aspects of the BDSM world.

WOMAN IN CHAINS by Bridget Midway is BDSM at its most hardcore, at least to me.  Some scenes
aren’t pretty but they are real.  Give me honesty and reality any day of the week.  Lovers of the BDSM
genre don’t want to miss this heady and intense novel.

Woman in Chains turned out to be a very good book on what not to do with BDSM. I enjoyed how Ms.
Midway provided some psychological input on what makes some submissives take to the lifestyle for the
wrong reasons. I also enjoyed Dak’s character and his ability to correctly re-educate and train the
submissive to a level of trust and strength. When “This Slave” refuses to give her name, Dak begins to
call her Rebekah. The depth of Rebekah’s character is truly awesome; she goes from what she thinks is
the right way to be in a Dom/sub relationship, to understanding who she is as an individual, to falling in
love. I enjoyed watching the growth of Rebeckah’s character; just seeing her strength unfold was a joy.
The sexual chemistry between Rebekah and Dak was very real and actually moved the plot along. The
sexual acts were filled with lots of toys, whips, spankings, anal play, and other BDSM goodies. The
secondary characters in the story were needed to help the plot. I recommend this story to any
newcomer to the BDSM world and well as those who are truly into the lifestyle.

This is an intriguing tale of a true BDSM lifestyle. I fell in love with Dak’s dominance, but the writer
cleverly depicts him with plenty of depth to sustain a relationship including patience, sensuality and a
masterful personality. Yes, Rebekah is naturally submissive, but she has a backbone that’s wicked. She
knows what she likes and what she expects from a dominant. The two tango about the book until they
realize there’s something going on that’s unexpected and emotionally gratifying. Let’s not forget about
the sex because it, too, plays an integral part to the plot of this intensively erotic love story. It’s hot,
explosive and edgy – guaranteed to make you feel something as you read. Will Dak be tempted enough
to go back to his previous lifestyle? Will Rebekah give him the respect he deserves and be willing to
start a new life? This is one of those books you can’t wait to finish, but then want to go back and re-
read because it’s so yummy! Explore
Woman in Chains today.

All the blinders are removed from the world of BDSM in Bridget Midway’s
Woman in Chains. Midway did
an excellent job of showing how BDSM explores the variety of sensations—not just the joining of the
usual puzzle pieces.

It was the first BDSM story I have ever read that spanned more than the length of a short story in an
anthology. For those curious about BDSM can get that curiosity fully satisfied in Bridget Midway’s
Woman in Chains, which earns 4 out of 5 Sable Seals.

Though I reiterate that this is no more than very well researched fiction, the story of Master Dak and
This Slave is an extraordinary one that has the sound of believability feathered into the background of
every page. I highly recommend this book not only to those into BDSM, but especially to those, like
myself (I turned down that offer (to train as a Domme)), who are not in the scene. Reading this book will
broaden your understanding of a lifestyle that may seem bizarre. If you're thinking of entering the
lifestyle, I would consider reading
Woman in Chains obligatory. Don't miss this one.

Woman in Chains is a powerful, well written story. Not being in the BDSM lifestyle I found it interesting to
find out that the stereotypes played out in the movies and on television is not what the BDSM life is
about. Bridget Midway gave me a glimpse into what a person should look for in a dom or domme if a
person is interested in being a sub or slave. I thought is was also interesting that a good sub needs to
know who he/she is and what he/she wants before entering the life. While there are extremes in any
lifestyle, I liked that Bridget showed that love can be found outside the traditional boy meets girl
romance and that the love is as real and true as what is viewed as traditional.

Woman in Chains is a keeper. It’s a romance for those not wanting the traditional happily ever after. I
will be reading more of Bridget Midway. Well done!

Chapter after chapter, lesson after lesson I felt as if I was getting a personal tutorial into a world where
sometimes pain is pleasure but it doesn’t have to be torture. I take my hat off to Bridget Midway for
telling an engaging tale that is sizzling and sexy but really emotionally engaging. I look forward to some
additional works from this author in the BDSM genre because she has the creative edge needed to
keep me as a reader captivated.

By the end of the story, I was well and truly in reader-love with both of our main characters and a few of
the secondary cast as well. Bridget Midway did a great job of working us through our character’s issues
to come out on the other side quite happy with the result.
