This interesting novel is a very unique read. Kevin and Yessica are extremely vivid characters with a
great deal of chemistry. The voodoo angle adds to the novel’s eerie atmosphere. I loved Kevin’s pot
smoking grandmother.

Silly Fears has a unique twist, combining Voodoo, a fear of clowns, and the difficulties that any new
relationship has.  With a touch of the macabre tossed in to make the story spicy, I ended up liking Kevin
and Yessica and even the kooky grandmother!

Silly Fears is a fascinating story that from the start. I thought it had a good premise with someone and
their fear of clowns. Yessica was very transparent in her actions and it made the storyline more
believable. Yessica and Kevin have certain passions that spark the pages. Ms. Midway spins a read
with a mixture of voodoo that lends some ghostlike ambience to the story. I loved her descriptions of so
many things in the story, and the way Kevin couldn’t drown out the scent of her hair. To me that was so
sweetly romantic. This couple has charm and passion that makes the story beautiful in all aspects.

Silly Fears was a great paranormal suspense story. It had it all, fears of clowns, being in the same
space as the thing you fear so much, and meeting the man who will help you through the hard times to
find out what really was behind the fears of clowns. But when it all comes out do they really want to
know what triggers Yessica's fears? Also add some ancient practice of voodoo and you have one great
paranormal thriller that will have you under the covers until you read what happens.
