Ms. Midway has once more proven her ability as a great storyteller. Although short this is a sweet
romance, with stimulating conflict. The characters are well developed considering the short length.
The flow is smooth and easy to read while demonstrating that the chances we take in life can be life
altering. Chances is a moving romance that warms the heart.

This story is short so for readers who don't have a lot of time, it makes a perfect read. Christa is torn
between which man she should choose and why, but the reader obviously knows from the start which
man she should choose. The love scenes are hot and steamy and the drama is non-stop. Bridget
Midway has created another story readers are sure to enjoy.

Ms. Midway sets a wonderful scene for Christa and Jim’s first face-to-face meeting. Jim is described as
‘not giving Brad Pitt a run for his money’, which, to me, was a wonderful analogy. The good point about
the whole book is it does show that people do not always look the way you picture them. And just
because the reality is different doesn’t always mean that it is bad.

Bridget Midway’s Chances explores the chance one must take in order to get the love they want. Jim
and Christa are not what the either expects, but cannot deny how attracted they are to each other. I
enjoyed that both Christa and Jim had to overlook preconceived notions to have the relationship they
want. The sexual chemistry between Jim and Christa is explosive and balanced by the friendship the two
have developed while working together.

Chances is a story of choices; a fact of life, unfortunately and I don't relish the situation that Christa
finds herself in. To have to choose between two potential hotties: yum! The author makes them sound
both so tempting but I got bad vibes about one of them. So this is a good example of 'show and not tell.'
Something that not all writers are able to do. But, Bridget Midway has it down to an art. The sex scenes
are warm and passionate and written in such a way that you could almost believe you were right there
in the room with them. Though I'm not sure that the characters would appreciate that, lol!
Altogether, I like Chances very much, both the story and the real life event ;) I'm sure you will too.

Chances hit me right in the heart and I relished reading this book. Bridget Midway has taken real human
emotions and hang ups and has written a wonderful, erotic story that explores those characteristics. I
love how both characters are able to come together and find a way to make their lives work despite
those hang ups. As for Jim, I just want to hear his voice! Thumbs up to Christa for realizing that beauty
isn’t everything, and that in taking a chance, true happiness is a very real possibility.
I thoroughly enjoyed Chances by Bridget Midway, just as much as I have enjoyed all of Ms. Midway’s
books. I am happy to say that my automatic read list has increased by one with Chances!

For a short story, Chances combines both steamy sexuality and good character description. I fell for
both Christa and Jim and wished them only the best. I really appreciate that the author involves
characters who are not the perfect design, such as height-challenged and older, and that she copes
with issues such as interracial attraction. I highly recommend this; Bridget Midway is proving to be an
author to read!
