Corporate Needs
Chapter 2
“Looks like you’re in luck.” Win walked into the room. “Erik Hendrix, this is Mistress Agony.”
She didn’t bother getting up, however, she did at least extend her hand. Had she been his submissive
meeting someone new, he would have had her trained to bow at the person’s feet, maybe even kiss the
back of the person’s hand or the top of the shoes.
“I thought you said her name was Princess.” Erik reached out for her hand, but she dropped it back down to
her lap before he could even touch it.
“Win, since when do you bring submissives into the dominant’s lounge?” Princess returned her attention to
her magazine.
“Erik isn’t a guest. He’s a new employee. He’s taking on some of the dominating duties so that I can
concentrate on some of the business.”
That statement got her attention. Princess dropped her magazine and sprang to her feet. When she did, a
corner of her robe got tangled in her foot and pulled it down, exposing her breast. Seeing her jet black
nipple on top of her dark skin accelerated his heartbeat.
Easy, big fella. She’s your co-worker. Besides, relationships between two dominants never work out.
“Are you saying he’s going to be over all of the dominants here? Is he taking over your job?” Princess asked.
When Win said, “No,” Erik replied, “Yes.”
“What the hell?” Princess put her fists to her hips.
The position opened the vee of her robe again and gave Erik a good glimpse at the side of her tit. So round
and firm, he wanted to hold it, knead it, suck on her nipple until she begged him to stop.
Damnit, what was wrong with him? Sure, he hadn’t dated anyone in over a year after he’d released Petra.
But he’d gone out on dates with attractive women. He certainly had plenty of opportunity to have sex with
them. They didn’t interest him enough to make that leap. Erik had never been a bed-em-and-leave-em type.
Something about Princess’s attitude, look, and demeanor bowled him over.
“Nothing has been decided yet.” Win stared Princess in the eyes. “You’re certainly a frontrunner for the
spot. Erik has many years of experience. I know his style because he and I trained together. He’s also a
strong candidate.”
“So what are you saying?” Princess approached the duo.
With her being so close, Erik caught a whiff of her scent. The aroma reminded him of sandalwood and sex.
His insides twitched at the smell. Her dark eyes mesmerized him.
Hold it together, man.
“I’m saying that you and Erik are up for the job. May and I will make a decision at the end of this season.”
“Fuck this shit! You’re not stringing me along.” Princess slammed her magazine down and snatched her
shoes from the floor.
She didn’t exude a lot of control for a Domme. Too bad she wasn’t a submissive. Erik could have trained her
to better control her temper.
“Princess, wait.” Win held up his hands to stop her.
“No. I’m not stupid. If you wanted me for the job, you would have offered it to me. Instead you bring in this
guy and act like I’m supposed to be flattered that he’s my competition.” She grabbed her corset and headed
to the door, then Erik held onto her wrist and stopped her.
“It’s a shame you’re going. I was looking forward to working with you.” And Erik meant that. He had to see for
himself what she was really like.
“You don’t know me well enough to touch me. I suggest you take your hand off me. I’m not some submissive
you can control.”
After a beat, Erik released his hold. “My mistake.”
“Princess, even if I gave you the job, I would have brought someone here anyway. Erik misspoke when he
said that the job is his. It’s not.” Win glared at the man before returning his attention to Princess. “Don’t be
offended that we’re not offering you the job. A lot of factors are going into this decision. Bottom line, I don’t
want you to go. You started with us here. I want you to stay.”
Princess crossed her arms over her chest. She split her attention between Win and Erik. “The end of the
month.”
“What?” Win asked.
“You and May need to make a decision at the end of the month, not in two months when the season ends. I
need to make plans for myself. I don’t want to be left dangling.”
Erik turned to Win. “I agree with her. Out of fairness to both of us, we should be told as quickly as possible.”
Win nodded. “Fine. I just hope that no matter what the decision is, you’ll both stay here with us.”
“I can’t agree to that.” Princess shook her head. “If my friendship, years of service and loyalty don’t mean
anything to you, then I’m not staying.”
“And if my years of knowledge is passed over simply to pacify a, um, Princess, then I’ll return to my home in
Florida.”
“Then it sounds like I have a tough decision to make. Why don’t you two get acquainted? I’ve got some
business to take care of.” With that, Win walked out of the lounge area.
Erik gazed at Princess. Now that he had her all to himself, too many thoughts ran through his mind. With the
little bit of clothing she wore, it would have been so easy to open her robe, get her out of her bottoms, and
fuck her on the couch. He could have also bent her over the counter and taken her from behind. He licked
his lips thinking about each salacious idea.
“If you think you’re going to come up in here and try to take over, you’ve got another thing coming!”
One thought that entered his mind: how to shut her up.
* * * * *
Until the man opened his mouth, Mister Erik Hendrix looked like sex on two legs. His height matched Win’s
immense one. Other than that, the two men didn’t match. Whereas Win had dark hair and blue eyes, Erik
had dishwater blond hair and brown eyes.
Princess noticed right away Erik’s large hands and his massive forearms. The man had to be killer with a
whip and cane. When he spoke, that deep timbre of his voice, the sound cracked open the rusty valve in
her pussy that had remained cemented shut, keeping her from getting wet. All of the sudden, Princess felt a
trickle of moisture.
No way would she even think about getting involved with a guy like him. For one thing, he would be her
competition for this job that, until now, didn’t know existed or that she even wanted. Was that the reason
May had talked to her earlier that day? Maybe having this job would give her the renewed appreciation for
the Lifestyle.
Secondly, a relationship between two dominants would never work. One would always try to top the other.
Princess lost a lot of boyfriends and lovers that way. She refused to yield and they refused to be ordered
around by a woman.
And the third reason, as long as Erik talked, he turned her off. He came off as the type of guy that got off on
one-upping people. Forget that. She had her own issues. She didn’t need to deal in his b.s.
“So you’ve been at Suite Surrender since—”
Princess cut him off. “From the very beginning. And you’ve been a Dom for—”
“Over twenty years.” Erik nodded.
In his tan slacks, powder blue button-down shirt and dark blue jacket, he looked far too staid and casual to
be a Dom.
“Twenty years. Wow. Impressive. Let’s see. That means I was about ten when you started.” Princess
smirked, hoping her intended dig reached its target.
“I didn’t tell you that I started when I was about ten.”
Princess bit the inside of her lip to keep from smiling.
“Yep, when my babysitters were bad, I put them over my knee and spanked them. I taught them not to send
me to bed early.”
When he said that, Princess couldn’t help but to burst into laughter. She hated to admit it, but Erik, when he
wanted to be, could be charming.
That meant nothing. She was still a better candidate for the job. And this jerk needed to be knocked down a
peg or two.
When her laughter died down, Erik said, “Lots can be said for years of wisdom.”
“Yeah, like what?” Princess wiped away tears streaming from her eyes. She hadn’t laughed that hard in
years, not since the good old days with May when they would go out and have fun. A small part of herself
missed those times.
Erik approached her. “I’ve done things in life that you probably have never experienced.”
At his proximity, Princess caught his heady masculine scent. She swallowed hard. “You don’t know me. Don’t
be too sure about that.” She glanced over his shoulder at the digital clock on the wall over the door. “Shit!”
“What’s wrong?”
The concern in Erik’s voice caused her heart to thrum. What was it about this guy that got her body to react
and so quickly?
“Dipshit.”
“Hey, I’m trying to help you.”
“No. Not you.” Princess sat down and slipped on her shoes. “My pet.”
“Oh, the one you left in the kennel.”
She peered up at him but didn’t say a word.
“I watched you.”
Princess chuckled and shook her head. “Sizing up the competition?”
“Just checking you out.”
“I need to get him out of the kennel and into his room.” She stood. “I need to call May back in here.”
“For what?” Erik followed her to the phone on the wall.
Princess regarded him for a moment, wondering if she should answer his intrusive question. “She helped me
take off my corset. I need her help getting it back on.”
“No, you don’t.” Erik removed his jacket and sat it on the counter. “I’m more than capable of securing your
corset around you.” He picked it up from the couch. “Take off your robe.”
“Excuse me?” Princess put her fists to her hips.
“Fine. Turn around and take off your robe.”
She released an exasperated breath. “I really don’t have time to argue with you.” She turned her back to
him and removed her robe. After tossing it on the couch, she put her arms in the air so that Erik could slip
the garment on her.
He did so, then started the slow, arduous task of tightening the strings in the back.
“I don’t know why you’re so uptight about me seeing your breasts.” Erik tugged on the straps in the middle
and worked his way down. “It’s not like I haven’t already seen them.”
“What?” She turned to him.
Erik held onto her shoulders and turned her back around. “Earlier when you got up from the couch, your
robe fell open.”
“Did you enjoy the view?”
“Yes.”
Princess’s heart pounded even harder. “At least you’re honest.” And strong and sexy and had great hands
that melted her bones as soon as he touched her just now and the epitome of everything she wanted to
avoid.
“So, Princess, how did you get that name?” Erik pulled on the dangling strings at the bottom of her corset,
then started back at the top again.
Princess took a deep breath, as much as she could, as he secured each section. “My father named me. He
called me his little princess when I was born. It stuck. I was daddy’s little girl.” But that was a long time ago,
she wanted to say. Princess didn’t know this man well enough to open up that can of worms. If she hadn’t
open up about that part of her past with May, then Erik would remain in the dark.
“And you’ve had men wrapped around your finger ever since, haven’t you?” Erik pulled together the top
strap roughly, yanking her back a bit before she answered.
“Yes, I have.” Princess righted herself, refusing to appear unnerved.
“At least you’re honest, too.” Erik started one last tugging session on her corset.
“Did you leave a wife and kids back in Florida when you pulled up stakes and came here?”
“Are you interested in me?”
She heard the amused inflection in his tone. Princess had to squash that right away. “Just making small talk.
Just like Win told you earlier, don’t get ahead of yourself.”
“I’m not married. I don’t have children. And you?”
“Am late, so could you hurry it up?”
“Oh, no. I’m not going to be the only one opening up here. What’s your deal?”
Princess stepped away from him, then reached behind herself for the dangling ends of her corset cords.
“My deal is that I work alone, I don’t take shit from anyone and I don’t answer to anyone. If you have a
problem with that, stay out of my way.” She wrapped the ends around her waist since she was pressed for
time.
“It was absolutely delightful talking to you, Princess,” Erik said as she headed t to the door. Like a true
gentleman, one who wanted to show his dominance over her, he held the door open for her. “By the way, if
you don’t get your act together when you’re with a sub, you won’t get that job.”
Princess’s mouth hung open. What the hell was he talking about? He didn’t know shit about her to be
making any kind of assessment. Just as she was about to give him a piece of her mind, he stopped her.
“You’re going to be late. But if you want to know what I’m talking about as far as your disciplining style, come
see me later on. I’ll be running the demonstration tonight. You should definitely watch. You might learn
something.”
“Asshole!” She let the door close behind her.
“Nice meeting you, too!” he screamed after her.
Oh, yes, this man needed to stay away from her while she was there. And she needed to have a talk with
her dear friend, Maybelline. She, of all people, should have told Princess about the job…unless Erik was
right. Did they not trust her to give her that type of responsibility? Only one way to find out.
